DECODA CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL

In partnership with Lawrence University
Appleton, Wisconsin

July 25-August 6, 2021

Decoda is excited to announce our eighth annual summer festival for 2021!
DCMF is an annual summer intensive for musicians who seek new or enhanced skills in collaborative performance and creative audience engagement inside and outside the concert hall.

***We are continually monitoring the current health situation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic to determine the safest modality for our program. We will follow the recommendations of Lawrence University and the CDC in regards to protocols for safety and preparedness.***

Under the guidance of Decoda artists, participants will learn how to fully engage their audiences and communities through interactive chamber music performances, while also improving their own performance and public speaking skills.

The program for advanced string, woodwind, brass, and piano players offers:
Daily rehearsals, coachings, lessons, master classes, and workshops relating to life as a musician
Multiple performance opportunities in traditional concert halls and the local community
Recordings of live performances that will be made available for participants’ use
Competitive fully-funded fellowships and partial tuition scholarships available
