Each summer in the Asheville region, Decoda leads the Decoda Chamber Music Festival (DCMF), a dynamic program that brings together emerging musicians for an immersive experience in performance, mentorship, and creative collaboration—exploring how music can build community and inspire change.

Hashi Duo, Costa Rican classical guitarist Adrian Montero and Japanese pianist Moe Takamatsu, takes its name from the Japanese word for “bridge.” Their program creates a musical connection between Japan and Latin America, weaving together traditional and contemporary works in a vibrant cross-cultural dialogue.

The Varick Trio features Kevin Kyaw (piano), Da Young (Rachel) Lim (violin), and Guilherme Batalha (clarinet), bringing together a rich blend of textures and voices in an engaging chamber music performance.
