Decoda continues their ongoing partnership with Musical Masterworks in Old Lyme, CT with a five-day songwriting workshop at Cheshire Correctional Institute, a maximum security facility in Cheshire, CT.

Four musicians (Brad Balliett, bassoon; George Meyer, violin; Sæunn Thorsteinsdöttir, cello; and guest vocalist Majel Connery) will facilitate the creation of new music composed by the incarcerated participants. The week culminates in a prison-wide performance on Friday, September 18th.

Additionally, Decoda will lead two interactive workshops at Visa Life Innovations in Madison, CT on Saturday, September 19th.
